Trainee Travel Grants

Thanks to grant support from the National Eye Institute (1R13EY036712-01), we will have several $500 travel grants to offset the cost of attending the conference for trainees. To apply, fill out the form below prior to Jan 31st, 2025 (early registration & abstract submission deadline). You'll be notified about the outcome before the late registration deadline and will receive the award at the meeting.

Eligibility: For trainees (undergraduate students, Ph.D. students, postdoctoral fellows, or other research or support positions). The applicant does NOT need to be an author on a submitted abstract but must be in need of travel funds. However, priority will be given to those who present either a poster or talk. 

Selection of awardees: Awards will be determined based on the applicant’s statement and need. Some preference will be given to presenting authors. Particular consideration will be given to members of underrepresented groups.
